Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

We recognize that you may be concerned about our use and disclosure of your personal information. Your privacy is very important to us, and the following will inform you of the information that we, Rock Solid Drains, may collect from you, and how it is used. By using our website, www.rocksoliddrains.com, you are accepting the practices described in this policy.

Information Collection

We collect the following kinds of information:

  • Information you give us. When you fill out a form, call us, text us or email us, we collect what you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, service address and a description of the work you need.
  • Information collected automatically when you visit our website. Our website and our service providers automatically collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, the pages you view, the website or ad that brought you to us, and identifiers stored in cookies. Because your IP address and these identifiers can be linked to you, we treat them as personal information.
  • Information about your phone calls and text messages. See "Phone Calls, Call Recording and Text Messages" below.

We may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Information Use

We use the collected information primarily for our own internal purposes, such as providing, maintaining, evaluating, and improving our services and Website, fulfilling requests for information, and providing customer support.

We also use it to:

  • respond to your calls, texts and form submissions, and schedule and provide service;
  • review recorded calls for quality and training, and to resolve disputes;
  • understand which of our ads, search listings and web pages lead customers to contact us, and improve our advertising;
  • protect our website from spam and abuse; and
  • comply with the law.

Phone Calls, Call Recording and Text Messages

We use a call tracking service. Visitors to our website may see different phone numbers depending on how they found us, for example through a Google ad or a search result. This lets us tell which ads and pages lead to calls.

When you call or text one of these numbers, our call tracking provider collects your phone number; the name and approximate location (city, state and ZIP code) associated with your number through caller ID; the date, time and length of the call; and the content of any text message. If you visited our website before calling, your call can be connected to that visit, including the pages you viewed, how you found us, your device and browser, and your IP address.

Calls are recorded. You will hear a notice at the start of the call. If you do not want your call recorded, please hang up and contact us by email or through the form on our website instead. Recorded calls are automatically transcribed, and our provider's software creates a short summary of each call and notes such as the reason for the call. We use recordings, transcripts and summaries to respond to you, to train our staff, to check the quality of our service and to resolve disputes.

Security

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.

If we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use "cookies" and similar technologies (such as small pieces of code from our service providers, and information stored in your browser) on this site for these purposes:

  • Essential: to keep the site secure, block spam on our forms, and remember your privacy choices.
  • Analytics: to understand how visitors use the site, using Google Analytics.
  • Call tracking: to show the right tracking phone number and connect calls to website visits, as described above.
  • Advertising: to measure whether our Google ads lead to calls and form submissions, and to show our ads to people who have visited our site.
  • Site features: maps, accessibility tools and security badges provided by third parties.

Some of these cookies are set by third parties, including Google and our call tracking provider, which receive information about your visit when our pages load. You can control them with "Your Privacy Choices" (below) and through your browser settings. You can also manage how Google uses your information at myadcenter.google.com and install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Sharing

We will not sell or otherwise provide the information we collect to outside third parties for the purpose of direct or indirect mass email marketing.

We share personal information with companies that help us run our business so they can provide their services to us. These include our website host and website security provider; our call tracking and call recording provider; Google, for analytics, advertising and maps; providers of accessibility and security-badge tools on our website; our email and business software providers; and our marketing agency, which manages our website and advertising and delivers website form submissions to us. Some of these companies, such as Google, also use information they collect through our website for their own purposes, as described in their own privacy policies.

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

We will disclose personal information and/or an IP address, when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • Cooperate with the investigations of purported unlawful activities and conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on our company
  • Protect and defend the rights or property of our Website and related properties
  • Identify persons who may be violating the law, the rights of third parties, or otherwise misusing our Website or its related properties

Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online - for example through e-mail, discussion boards, or elsewhere - that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.

Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your personal information. Please be careful and responsible whenever you are online.

Your Privacy Choices

You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, including its use for targeted advertising, by clicking "Your Privacy Choices" at the bottom of any page on this website and choosing "Opt out." When you opt out, our analytics, call tracking and advertising tools stop running on that browser. Your choice is saved in a cookie, so you will need to opt out again if you clear your cookies or use a different browser or device.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out, with no further action needed.

To opt out of the sharing of information you gave us by phone, text or through a form, contact us using the details at the end of this policy.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is no common standard for how websites should respond to it, our website does not respond to Do Not Track signals. We do honor Global Privacy Control, as described above.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, this section applies to you in addition to the rest of this policy.

  • Commercial information: the services you asked about or purchased.

We collect this information from you, from your browser or device, from our call tracking provider (including caller ID information from phone carriers), and from Google when you click one of our ads. We use it for the purposes described in "Information Use" and "Phone Calls, Call Recording and Text Messages," and we disclose it to the categories of companies described in "Sharing." We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

Sale and sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. However, we allow Google to collect identifiers, internet activity and approximate location through cookies on our website, and we share information about calls and form submissions that came from our Google ads (such as the ad click identifier) with Google to measure our advertising. California law may treat this as "selling" or "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time as described in "Your Privacy Choices." We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. To decide how long, we consider how long we need it to respond to you and provide service, our need to keep business, tax and warranty records, the need to resolve disputes, and our legal obligations. Website analytics and advertising data is kept according to the retention settings of the tools that collect it. When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Your rights

  • Right to know: you can ask what personal information we have collected about you, where we got it, why we use it, who we disclose it to, and for a copy of it.
  • Right to delete: you can ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct: you can ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
